FAQ

HOW DO YOU DISINFECT YOUR TOOLS?

We at Nailed it Nails Studio take your health very seriously. We disinfect using only the methods as prescribed by the Ontario Ministry of Health. After a thorough scrub with soap and water, all used implements disinfected for twenty minutes using ACCEL CS 20; Our work surfaces & pedicure sinks are disinfected after each client using a hospital-grade sterilizer; ACCEL TB. In fact, we use one-time disposable files and buffers for each customer. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our salon and our sanitization and disinfection procedures. We go above & beyond the regular health standards set out by the province of Ontario.

WHY DRY "WATERLESS" MANICURE?

We provided our manicure service without the use of a hand soaking in bowl. When we immerse our nails in water, the nail plate temporarily expands and it takes 24 hours for the nail to return to their natural state. After you have applied nail lacquer to expanded nails, when the nails reduce to their normal size, the polish will react by chipping or peeling. So a dry manicure is the simple answer to the healthiest nails and the longest-lasting polish!

HOW TO MAINTAIN HEALTHY HANDS AND FEET?

We recommend getting a manicure once every twice a weeks because hands are more vulnerable daily and require more maintenance. For pedicures, we recommend getting once every 4 weeks because feet can withstand more time as we keep them protected in our shoes.
